“The strength, intelligence, compassion and beauty that every woman embodies is one of the most powerful forces on the planet. Seeing a young Lebanese woman standing up for what she believes in with her art makes my soul smile. Go get ‘em Xriss!”
- Xriss is a Lebanese-born singer and artist, now moved to the USA. From the small town of Yahchouch, she discovered her passion for music while singing karaoke with her family at a young age. Xriss was fascinated with popular American singers and rock stars shown to her by her father who lived abroad in the United States. Before long, she was working at a karaoke bar as a hostess where her shifts turned into performances. During this time Xriss obtained a degree in fine arts and theatre while still pursing music on the side. After joining a few local bands, she gained a residency at Beirut’s top live music lounge and toured throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
- Xriss was accepted to be a contestant on the debut season of The Voice [Arabia], advancing to the quarterfinals, where she gained thousands of fans and exposure in the region. Following The Voice, Xriss had the opportunity to sing for Quincy Jones, will.i.am, and Timbaland at the Dubai Music Week Talent Search, completely stunning the panel of A-list judges. Shortly after, she signed a management deal with G3 (Global Gumbo Group), a joint venture between Quincy Jones and Badr Jafar.
